Mr. Michael Hooven
Welcome to Glenolden School! I am honored and excited to begin my first year as Principal of Glenolden School. Having grown up in Folcroft, I have deep roots in Delaware County and a longstanding appreciation for the rich traditions of the Interboro School District. This year marks my 21st year in education and my 11th year in educational leadership. Before becoming an Interboro Buc in 2023, I spent 17 years in the Southeast Delco School District, serving as both a teacher and an administrator.
Outside of school, I am the proud father of four children, ages 16, 14, 11, and 3. I look forward to learning about the rich traditions that make Glenolden School such a special place, building meaningful relationships with our students, staff, and families, and working together to create a safe, welcoming, and fun learning experience for every child. I am truly excited to be your Principal and proud to be a Glenolden Buc!
